We researched swimming pools for two years before settling on the MagnaPool system.
Our criteria was: we needed a lap pool, it must be heated for daily use all year around. Not chlorine or salt for two reasons:
One my skin reacts to the chlorine at levels needed for a salt or chlorine pool and even worse when heated, we have found the low level of chlorine in the Magna pool is not causing the skin reactions found using salt or chlorine pools.
Two, my mother is an asthmatic and reacts to the high levels of chlorine but is not having any problems using our MagnaPool. We wanted to be able to use the back wash water in the orchard and not contaminate the soil. The separate spa needed to be run with the MagnaPool system and to be able to be heated to 35 degrees. My research came up with the MagnaPool because it met all our criteria and more.
The water is soft and gentle on our skin and guests have commented on how soft the water feels and how relaxed they feel after swimming in our pool. I have a chronic back injury and the therapeutic result of the magnesium is really noticeable when using the pool or spa to relieve muscle aches and pains. I believe it is value for money and well worth the extra cost of the MagnaPool.

For months we planned a renovation to our home including a new swimming pool, for our growing family. After receiving approval for our development application our pool plans were placed on hold by the birth of our daughter who suffers from eczema. The chlorine and salts in standard pool treatment systems irritate her skin, and a pool in our backyard would be too much of a temptation on a hot summer’s days when her eczema is at its worst.

When we were looking to have our pool built we asked our pool builder what options there were available to us. As I have 75% 3rd Degree Burns to my body I didn't want a salt pool (leaving salt residue on my skin) or chlorine (for the obvious smell and red eyes they cause, not to mention a host of other factors).
Brad & Glen Buttsworth of Narellan Pools Bathurst suggested a MagnaPool would be the best pool for my skin condition overall, and ‘’Magnapool’’, well, we had never heard of it, so we looked it up on the internet.
What a product, yes it was a bit more expensive in the beginning to the price of our new pool, but it was our dream to have a product like Magnapool.
What can I say, to be able to swim in our own pool and also to control the balancing of non-synthetic chemicals, but to have no smell, no residue and no red eyes this is truly amazing.
I am able to dilute the pool water and put it on the Garden and the Lawn in Orange where we are on level 5 water restrictions is also fantastic. But to know that the water can not harm my skin, this would have to be one of the best investments to my health and well being that we have made.
To swim in a Magnapool for me and my wife, and our families sake, it has been the best summer we have experienced to date. To come home after work, take the pool cover off, skim the few insects from the top and get into our swimmers and jump straight in is the best feeling and Magnapool, well, we tell everybody that will listen to get one or look it up on the internet.
